Join us for an online event to understand how climate and health intersect in Manchester and what action we can take

Like all crises, climate change will affect the health and wellbeing of all people and will widen and create health inequalities. This is particularly true of Manchester. Join us for an online event to understand how climate and health intersect in Manchester and what action we can take .There will be a chance to connect with others who are concerned about climate change and health inequalities.

We’ll hear from different voices across the city, sharing their experiences of air quality, NHS front line work, mental health and extreme weather events.

Climate Emergency Manchester will introduce their new report on health and climate, and explain what steps Manchester City Council must take, ahead of a discussion of climate change at the Health Scrutiny Committee on 9th February.
