Thanks for visiting.  If you’re looking for a downloadable pdf of the blank petition form then here it is. And here is a compliments slip (4 to a page) to give them, and to anyone else who wants basic contact details for the campaign.

On Thursday 23rd May we are hosting a public meeting “What Next for Climate Action in Manchester?” at the Friends Meeting House, 6 Mount St.  Come for some mingling at 7pm, meeting starts 7.30 sharp.  Speakers from Youth Strike for Climate, Extinction Rebellion, Rising Up! Manchester Families, Unite the Union Community Branch climate group and Climate Emergency Manchester.  There’s an outline of the evening here.

Please get people to print their name clearly, sign, circle the form of eligibility and then give the address that gives them eligibility.  E.g. if they live OUTSIDE of Manchester City Council’s boundaries, but work/study within, then they should give the full address of where they work/study.  Once you’ve got as many people signed up/the sheet(s) are full, you can either take them to the Sandbar, 120 Grosvenor St in an envelope marked “Climate Emergency Petition” or email climateemergencymanchester@gmail.com and we will come and collect from you and say thanks in person. Thanks so much!
