67 of the 96 #Manchester councillors have said they support the #climate emergency motion

The map below gives you a sense of the coverage – dark green represents all three councillors having said they support.  (This is NOT to say that other councillors do not, just that we haven’t heard from them).

In any case, the real challenge is not to extract promises of future action: Manchester City Council has been making promises a long long time.  No, the challenge is to have the stamina, intelligence and numbers to make sure that the promises are kept. That work starts very soon indeed…  Watch this space…
