From @niamos_mcr Saving the #Hulme Hippodrome & Playhouse Campaign: Hulme Hippodrome up for auction
We’ve just been alerted to the following:
https://auctionhouselondon.co.uk/lot/the-hulme-hippodrome-and-floral-hall-47-53-preston-street-hulme-manchester-lancashire-m15-5eu-125912/
Guide price £950k
Worryingly the auction details suggest that the Hippodrome could be redeveloped as residential.

Careful anyone using Cross Road, Chorlton. Some serious defects that could wreck a car wheel, or throw you off your bike. Reported to @ManCityCouncil .

Closing this road to rat runners as part of Chorlton Cycleway would slow deterioration. @evefrancisholt @hacking4chorltz

Asking for a friend.
