From @niamos_mcr Saving the #Hulme Hippodrome & Playhouse Campaign: Hulme Hippodrome up for auction
We’ve just been alerted to the following:
https://auctionhouselondon.co.uk/lot/the-hulme-hippodrome-and-floral-hall-47-53-preston-street-hulme-manchester-lancashire-m15-5eu-125912/
Guide price £950k
Worryingly the auction details suggest that the Hippodrome could be redeveloped as residential.

A very timely and much needed research report by @transportforall on LTNs, impacts on disabled people and accessible active travel.

A recommended read for everyone involved in changing streetscapes.

Careful anyone using Cross Road, Chorlton. Some serious defects that could wreck a car wheel, or throw you off your bike. Reported to @ManCityCouncil .

Closing this road to rat runners as part of Chorlton Cycleway would slow deterioration. @evefrancisholt @hacking4chorltz

Helllo @UNFCCC - who do we speak to abt your "Race to Zero" thing? Esp interested in whether the R2Z process allow for underperforming councils and cities to be stripped of their membership if they continue to overpromise and underdeliver?

Asking for a friend.
